A question that has probably been asked before.

What colours were the Bradford vans painted when they left the factory?
Are the original Jowett colours still available?

Did Jowett ever sell their vans in a cheaper "undercoat" option, for the customer to apply their own paint scheme?

The following may help those in search of original colour matches and supply of cellulose paints: -

Classic Paint Expert have colour libraries dating from the 1930s with over 160,000 colours and they can aso supply cellulose paints.

Anyone know any more?

Thanks for the link to the paint supplier.
There is a trend amongst restorers of commercial vehicles to "dolled up" original vehicles with modern high gloss paint and modern colour schemes.
It is good to find a list of original colours still available to help restorers.

I always understood that the Blue, Grey and Green standard colours were essentially ex military colours that the paint industry had been happily producing for the war years. Jowett original advertising bumph for the Bradford did list it as available in primer.
