Hi all, we come to record the output of Rallye Monte-Carlo Historic Barcelona with my new company (http://www.ar2multimedia.com) and for us is a great disappointment that we do not have any Jowett to dispute this prestigious competition. I had understood that a Jupiter participated this year, but in official lists does not appear. I think it would have great potential to do well, and possibly be one of the oldest cars in the competition.

Moises,
Yes it would be good to fly the Jowett flag. The problem is that by the look of the cars in it, they are all much younger than the Jowett and also look like they are heavily modified.
I would love to do a classic event again in Spain but there would need to be a class for 1950's cars or even 1940's. That way we would not be thrashing the car just to keep within exclusion time. You could be the navigator/co-driver if we find such an event.
Perhaps I will just plan a sedate tour around, so I can enjoy the great food and wine. How about a few of us doing that one year once your Javelin is fully operational? We can always put a bit of competition into the tour to spice things up. I still have the route of the Marathon we did through the country.

Re: Rallye Monte-Carlo Historic 2015
In Spain there are many historic rallies regularly even a championship of Spain with 13 tests both in speed and regularity. El Monte is a competition of chaos, very difficult and expensive, the most serious logical to start with smaller competitions, mountain climb, sprint rally ... but hey, time will tell if we can go to these events, where the Jowett Javelin would not let anyone indifferent. At these events you consider the years of the car, in the case of Javelin, would not have to go at the same pace of competition that a car of the 70s.
