children

Post by David Kemp »

I have two teenage kids , & am looking at buying another daily driver. I have been offered a cheap Subaru Impreza & will likely buy this (modern Jowett), however I showed the kids my other preferences. A jowett Javelin & a 1972 Mustang.
The Subaru won , but surprisingly the Jowett came second! I thought my son at least would prefer a Mustang. It seems old men drive Mustangs!
They say collector cars ,are cars, 50 year old men wanted as teenagers. This definitely is the case with me. However I also thought that a car of the seventies would have greater appeal to a teenager! How wrong I am.
Good memories of Bradfords.

You should have offered them a Bradford. The quirkiness seems to appeal.

My kids have already said NOOOOO.
My son's diplomatic response was "Bradfords are not the worst car you like Dad"
Good memories of Bradfords.
