I've had some problems with the car of late. That, unfortunately, meant we had to have her moved by A frame, to our local Jowett garage in Congleton.
Messrs TB and DM kindly did this for me on Tuesday morning. The car was delivered, and work carried out.
Yesterday, I collected her and drove her back in horrible driving conditions. The car ran smoothly and we arrived back home in the rain.
Is it still Summer?
Today.
I have gone over the car, and cleaned and polished the bodywork, and treated the wheels to a good clean. I used tire shine to clean up the tires. And I am very surprised how good this liquid is. The tires look like new.
The interior has also been buffed up. The seating was in desperate need of a clean, and I used Autoglym for that little job.
The carpets have also seen some cleaning action and so has, the dashboard and the engine.
Tires have all been inflated to the respective tire pressures. And she has a new dust cover.
It has been a long day, but well worth it.
Thanks too, David Mason. Some of the section will be at Woodford, for the Air Fair on 6th August. This will unfortunately be. Jemima's first showing in 2017. (Hangs head in shame) I need to attend more events in 2018.
So it will be very nice to see, once again, our Jowett friends and talk about all things, Jowett.
I had lost my MOJO, for Jowetteering recently. But now, I have it back. And I can't wait to go places once again.`
