Wanted - two cylinder engine and gearbox

I'm looking for an 8 or Bradford engine and gearbox for a project I am planning. A back axle might be handy to!

From many moons ago there was on the front cover of Jowetteer a picture of a Jowett Bradford special and in the pages inside a detailed article about one mans mission with a Bradford and its eventual conversion to a special. This was in the days of the A4 size Jowetteer

I remember then, with two Jowett 8 chassis and a CB Bradford pulled from a farmers field wanting to make something similar. Circumstances changed and University beckoned, my parents moved and I lost my storage. All the Jowett's had to go. The Bradford parts over the mountain to Beaufort and the custodianship of Paul Beaumont.

However the idea of such a project has remained and so now with more time on my hands I thought time to start to gather the parts I need to make it a reality. Jeremy, welcome to the Forum.

Why not re-join the Club and put an advert in the Wanted section of the rather splendid current Jowetteer magazine.
There's more of a chance that your request might bear fruit as it will reach around 500 members, many more UK-based than the Forum will reach.

A brief resume of your project will add interest.

That is on my to do list for sure - I was trying to find the back copies of Jowetteer that are in the loft - slightly upsetting about how many years go it was!

It is good to see some familiar names still about, my Dad and I spoke at length to you at the Bristol Classic Car show one year.
