Can we find someone to contact Classic Cars magazine with the view of doing either a 'Life Cycle' or 'Epic Restoration' story for their print and digital versions.
If you are a UK-based Jowett owner and would be interested in having your car showcased as part of the feature, please read the guidelines from CC of what is needed for a Life Cycle or Epic Restoration below.
If you feel you can help out, please contact me and we can take things from there.
• Life Cycle: a classic for which you can talk to each owner back to the first owner to the current, and talk about their memories with the car, and find some photos with it. With that in place we’d set up a photoshoot of the car and current owner. It’s a This is Your Life for cars. If there’s a gap in the surviving owners, that doesn’t automatically rule out the car as long as an adult relative/friend/colleague of the time can talk on their behalf.
• Epic Restorations: we need a classic that’s been recently and comprehensively restored by a specialist who is willing to have the craftsmen involved interviewed about what they did, and also to allow us to set up a photoshoot of the finished car in their workshop. The core of this is journey of discovery, frustration and success that each craftsman, and the owner, experiences. It’s not a problem if some of the key areas were farmed out (they often are), as long as we can speak to those involved.
Many thanks, and it would be lovely if anyone of you could get involved.

Probably worth contacting Noel to see if he will investigate and generate an article.
