Peter Holden advised me today that there is an upcoming sale at Pugh's of Ledbury ( http://www.hjpugh.com/new.html) on Wednesday 28th April. The late John Priest's 8 is in (the owner who bought from previous auction is putting it through), as are his Bradford spares (that originally sold with his motorcycle spares as a job lot & obviously weren't what that purchaser wanted)

Did that. Not found with Jowett, amazingly it is under Jawett.. Must be a local dialect!

Jowett Super 8 Deluxe 4 door. 1939. Starts and runs. Will need servicing and recommissioning before putting back on the road. This car comes with a diary with all the journeys and servicing from 1993. Since then Every detail and movement of the car has been logged in this diary. It also comes with its old buff log book, and test certificates. Only 60,000 miles on the clock. Reg HHK 277. V5
