Jowett Library

Hi there,

Just an idea for the Moderator. Could we start a new index heading entitled 'Jowett Library' ?

Here, we could store technical info, such as the Javelin Handbook, Parts Lists etc.etc., so that we build up a data base of information for members. I know all this stuff is probably out there in various forms and places, but it would seem reasonable to gather it all together, so that we can access it easier? The JCS lists of available spares would be a useful addition as well.

As time goes on, we could add photos and personal tips, so that the library grows into a really useful bank of collective information for all of us to use.

Just a thought.

I was hoping someone would suggest this, as we need to build up the intellectual property store so that we can share it with our future members. It is gradually fading in our minds; so we need to capture it quickly.

Please start to collect your thoughts and start posting them. We do need to decide on the structure of this libary, but for now I will add an extra section which later we can reorganise. O.K?

I am grateful that this idea seems to be possible.

Can I suggest an additional section for visual records, such as video clips, etc.?

Please also read the posts on uploading pictures. I would love to offer this facility but the hosting company currently has a limit on something called 'php memory' that means I cannot run my favourite picture program!
