Cylinder head studs

Post by Forumadmin »

I see from the parts book page 9 that there are three types of cylinder head studs 1.53692 1.53693 1.53694 that are special for the Jupiter and also one Long Shank special 54768 for the Series 3 engine.
I think the reason is the thinner head gasket for the Jup and deeper drilling for the Series 3.
Am I correct and what are the differences in length and threading?
They should all be fitted with the Special Thick Nut FN606/K which is often not the case!
