I am trying to find out the whereabouts of a Jowett Javelin registered YMV990. This car was owned by my father in law for over 30 years and finally sold by him in about the early 1990's. Since then I have found photos of the car after restoration and it has been sold at least twice since then. The last sale that I am aware of was in March 2022 when it was sold at auction. Unfortunately I missed the sale and the auctioneers didn't put me in contact with the buyer. I have a few bits and pieces which may be of interest to the buyer and can supply copies of old photos when it was owned by my father in law.

Richard - Our Javelin club registrar Nick Webster maybe able to assist providing the car / member is still registered with us - you can contact him through the forum but if you cant get hold of Nick please advise and I'll try a different route for you

I'm sorry I did not see your post straight away - it seems to be "parked" in a section of the forum away from the main Javelin threads, so sorry about that.

YMV 990 does belong to a club member. I'm afraid that under data protection rules I cannot release their details, but I will copy your post and send it in an email to them. They may either respond on here or perhaps contact me direct and we'll see if we can get everyone linked up.
