Napier
April 18 – 21

Napier has been chosen for next years rally as it is located centrally and a comfortable day run from both Auckland and Wellington (and the Ferry). It was also selected because of the host of other activities in this region to make it a worthwhile destination to take a few extra days to stay or get to and from by different routes with interesting stopovers.
For overseas visitors it is less than two hours from Lake Taupo and a further one hour to Rotorua, both tourist destinations traveling to or from Auckland.

Overseas visitors will be welcome and we will give assistance wherever we can

Well now I suppose we better commiserate with you. I only hope the French do not beat us as well!

Will have a look at flights and see if we can make it over.

I would love to come to this one.
We have been thinking of a trip accross the ditch for a while and this could be it.
Can't afford to bring any of the mistresses[Jav, Jup,Braddy] so I'll talk to the wife.Sounds good!!

Commiserations all round. Mind you up in Queensland they play a form of the sport that only other Aussies can beat them at!

It isn't realy a sport because it is played on grass in a team with a bar adjacent.Like lawn bowles.
