I found two spare clockwork indicator switches.I noticed that mine never had the spring fitted (or somebody had removed it).The spare switches both didn't work,but one had a spring.I put the spring on the car switch,and bingo,it works.I can see why the spring was removed now,they flick off quite quickly.
